Over 66 recipes using overripe bananas

Chances are you have overripe bananas on your counter. Look no further: here are more than 66 banana recipes for how to use them!

Do you often find yourself with overripe bananas? I do, all the time. We eat so many bananas that I tend to buy huge amounts. And because you can’t buy perfect bananas (they’re usually too green), I have to let them sit and ripen. And then they’re all ripe at the same time and I need to eat 12 bananas or they go bad.

It’s a popular problem, I think. Did you know you can also FREEZE overripe bananas to use later? Then you can make banana recipes anytime you want!

I love putting bananas in baked goods. One, they’re great for breakfast. Two, they’re a great way to get rid of some of the fat. And three? They taste good! If you have some bananas on your counter that are just waiting to be used, check this list.

  1. I was given 3 cases of bananas. Some are VERY ripe and some aren’t. What can I make with all these bananas that I can freeze and have for later?????? HELP! !!!

    1. Bread works best for freezing, or muffins! Or, just freeze the bananas themselves, then defrost on the counter/in the fridge before you want to use them! The skins will turn brown but they’ll be perfect for baking.

  2. Love anything with bananas! Pinning this collection! (I actually have some frozen bananas I forgot about until now, so finding this collection was very timely).

  3. I love, love, love bananas.  I eat one every day.  Even so, by the time the week is up, several of them are overripe and I end up freezing them!  Consequently, I have way too many bananas in my freezer!  Your post is a great round-up of ideas for using my frozen bananas!  Thank you – I’m a happy girl!
