The only ice cream we make is no churn ice cream: it’s easier and tastes just as good as the real thing! Making ice cream at home can be really easy without a machine – you only need 2 ingredients for the base recipe and a whole lot of imagination for the rest.

This is a list of my favorite no churn ice cream recipes – there is everything on this list that you’ll see in the grocery store – and more!

  1. Good evening. Well this past weekend, I made a banana pudding no church ice cream and a rum flavored ice cream with crushed petridge farm macadamia nut cookies and chip a hoys. I think this week I’ll do a red velvet donut ice cream. I’ll use the donuts from one of my favorite local donut shops.

  2. Hi Dorothy , I tried your mint ice cream but with chocolate chips roughly chopped . The taste is superb but the texture is more like mousse. It has not frozen like the icecream should . Why is that ? Love to hear your advise on that .
Thank you for your time . And I did not use the heavy cream but the cool whip type whipping cream which is oil based .

  3. We are lucky enough to have an ice cream machine from our wedding (32 years ago!). Can we make these no churn recipes in the machine with similar results?

  4. Being a huge and snotty ice cream officianado I like the idea of making my own but don’t want to get into the ice cream maker mess. So I saw a 3 ingred. recipe for coffee ice cream the other day and thought I saved it in my bookmarks, but alas no. Have torn the www apart looking for recipes and this is the BEST list. Thx. Cant wait to try.

  5. Oh, SEO…I was just looking at stats (something I do once every few months because really now…it’s just my lil blog) and I got a lot of referring clicks from this post.  I had to check it to see why!  I must’ve missed it way back when…
