  1. Hi Dorothy , I tried your mint ice cream but with chocolate chips roughly chopped . The taste is superb but the texture is more like mousse. It has not frozen like the icecream should . Why is that ? Love to hear your advise on that .
Thank you for your time . And I did not use the heavy cream but the cool whip type whipping cream which is oil based .

  2. We are lucky enough to have an ice cream machine from our wedding (32 years ago!). Can we make these no churn recipes in the machine with similar results?

  3. Being a huge and snotty ice cream officianado I like the idea of making my own but don’t want to get into the ice cream maker mess. So I saw a 3 ingred. recipe for coffee ice cream the other day and thought I saved it in my bookmarks, but alas no. Have torn the www apart looking for recipes and this is the BEST list. Thx. Cant wait to try.

  4. Oh, SEO…I was just looking at stats (something I do once every few months because really now…it’s just my lil blog) and I got a lot of referring clicks from this post.  I had to check it to see why!  I must’ve missed it way back when…

  5. I swear I was just on my way to get the ice-cream machine when I saw this – I stopped in my tracks. I think i’ll try Peanut Butter Brownie Batter Swirl first… or maybe Nutter Butter… or Strawberry Cheesecake, but any will do with this 42 degree C Pakistani weather 🙂

  6. Dorothy, You can also. turn that Avocado frosting into ice cream…just freeze it. Also, I brought these coconut cream filled cookies at the Dollar tree® store. They’re like little golden Oreos® except, they’re filled with coconut flavored cream. They are verry good. 😉

  7. This is just what I needed for the summer–it’s 90 degrees outside some days and I just whipped up a delicious batch of vanilla ice cream last week but am craving. Every. Single. Variation. You have here. 🙂 thanks for sharing!!
