EASY Peanut Butter Caramel Apple Dip - this recipe has only 3 ingredients and is the perfect dip for apples or fruit!

My cat snores. Loudly.

The other morning I was awakened from a sound, dream-filled sleep to what sounded like someone screaming in my ear. I thought Jordan was having a nightmare. She wasn’t.

What makes it even more special is that kitty likes to sleep in the corner of the bed…behind my head.

Every time I hear her snoring like a truck driver I wonder how such a sound comes out of a nine-pound animal. I want to record her so bad but she has a knack for her loudness at 3am, and I’m just not ready for video recording at that time of night.

This really has nothing to do with this dip, except that this dip is just slightly more amazing than her snoring.

It’s peanut butter. And caramel!!

There are only 3 ingredients in this recipe and it’s SO GOOD. You can make it on the stove or in the microwave. I like to package it in little containers for my daughter to take to school – no more buying pricey apples and caramel!

Did I mention it’s good with apples. Or pretzels. Or on a spoon.

  1. Love this! I want to make it but don’t normally buy heavy whipping cream.. Would I be able to make it with almond milk? Maybe if I add less?

    • Yes, add less to start. It will thicken as it cools but you don’t want it too watery and the less fat in the almond milk can cause it to be runny if you use too much. But it will work!

  2. I’ve made this twice with great success! Canning it for Christmas Gifts this year as well. Thanks for sharing!  I’ve decided this is a ‘healthy alternative to some of the sweets I make as I always use apples to dip with. Hence the healthy part.?

  3. Why is there so much oil standing on the top! ? So disappointed. Followed directions pretty closely, too,
