Making crockpot candy is easy to make with simple ingredients! You just dump everything into the slow cooker and then let it cook for a few hours, until it’s all melty. Chocolate Peanut Clusters are also the perfect gift or addition to a holiday platter. Growing up crockpot candy was a yearly occurance so now I make it with my family too!

Ingredients Needed

  • Nuts: I used roasted peanuts but you can use any kind of nut you like (regular cocktail peanuts, almonds, cashews, etc).
  • Cereal: Instead of making plain old crockpot candy, I add Golden Grahams to make them more s’mores like.
  • Almond Bark: I always use chocolate almond bark or Ghirardelli candy melts.
  • Chocolate Chips: I used semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  • Marshmallows: I used mini marshmallows to complete the s’mores flavor.

How to make Crock-Pot Candy

  1. Place nuts and cereal in the bottom of a 6-7 quart crockpot. Place almond bark and chocolate chips on top. Cook on high for about 2 hours (check after 1 hour) until you melt the chocolate.
  2. Stir to combine the nuts, cereal, and chocolate, then gently stir in the marshmallows.
  3. Immediately scoop candy clusters onto wax paper lined baking sheets using two spoons. Chill to set.

    1. You can find it in the baking aisle of most grocery stores. It’s called Almond Bark, or sometimes they have Candiquik (another brand).

  1. I had the EXACT same experience at the grocery store last week – lines wrapped around the store! I’d so much rather order online and sit home and eat THIS. Such a delicious recipe!
