This Ice Cream Pie Recipe is loaded with hot fudge, caramel, peanut butter, and chocolate that in an Oreo pie crust. I’m calling it a 7 layer pie because I made homemade ice cream full of layers of flavor!

Loaded Ice Cream Pie

This is not your regular no-churn ice cream pie recipe: This is a chocolate peanut butter pretzel caramel drizzle ice cream pie recipe. It’s a mouthful of a name and dessert! So we’ll just stick to calling this the loaded ice cream pie

It’s too bad I can’t face-plant onto a computer screen. That might hurt, but if it would mean I could taste this pie again, I might try it.

Why you’ll love this recipe

  • Homeade ice cream without a machine – no churn!
  • An incredible mix of everyone’s favorite flavors including chocolate, pretzel, caramel, and peanut butter!
  • Amazing for birthdays or special occasions
ingredients in 7 layer ice cream pie.

Ingredients Needed

  • Oreo Crust: You can use a store bought crust or make my perfect Oreo Crust Recipe.
  • Sweetened condensed milk and Heavy whipping cream: These create the no churn ice cream base.
  • Hot Fudge: I prefer to make my own hot fudge sauce since it is so quick and easy to make, but you can use store-bought to save 5 minutes
  • Caramel Sauce: I made my own caramel sauce with 3 simple ingredients, or use store bought.
  • Peanut butter: you can’t ever go wrong with creamy peanut butter
  • Oreos: I crushed my Oreos in a plastic sandwich bag or you can quickly blend them in a food processor
  • Pretzels: coarsely broken pretzels to add some crunch and a salty-sweet goodness
  • Sprinkles: rainbow sprinkles for a pop of fun

Be sure to see the recipe card below for full ingredients & instructions!

How to Make an Ice Cream Pie

  1. Stir together sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract.
  2. Whip the cold heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form (make whipped cream) and then fold it into the sweetened condensed milk.
  3. Drizzle all of the peanut butter and about ⅔ of the hot fudge and caramel on top of the ice cream mixture, then sprinkle on Oreos, pretzels, and sprinkles. Fold to slightly combine – you don’t want it totally mixed but more want to see the swirls of sauces.
  4. Pour the ice cream into the prepared crust. Drizzle remaining hot fudge and caramel over the top and add more sprinkles, if desired.
  5. Freeze for at least 4 hours, or until firm.

Variations

  • Instead of the Oreo and pretzel add-ins, you can swap them for any of your favorite candies.
  • Feel free to swap out sauces with other flavors (butterscotch or marshmallow, or even fruit ice cream topping).

Expert Tips

  • To slice the frozen pie, heat your knife up with hot water for easy slices.
  • Change up the extract flavors to add different flavors to the pie.
  • Swap out any of the mix-ins for something else or use a graham cracker crust instead.

  1. I echo your husband when I say “I also want to plant my face in that.” Like, strap a feed bag to my head and fill it with only this magical, amazing seven layer fat-free pie (I saw the words “fat free” in this post so I’m sticking to that opinion).

  2. Oh dear this pie des look mighty tasty, fat free ice cream has got to be good if Breyers makes it.

  3. Ok. This is tempting me like you read about! Why is there not one in my freezer right now?! I need to fix that 😉 Incredible!!

  4. Thanks for joining me at Two Cup Tuesday! I hope to see you again Monday night at Pint Sized Baker.
