No Bake Pumpkin Apple Dessert Lush

This pumpkin and apple combo is just about as classic as it gets. They are the two most prominent fall ingredients.

This lush recipe has a few different layers of pumpkin, apple, and whipped cream that make this recipe the best. It is a no bake recipe which means that it is easy to prepare and great for a party.

  1. when we were young, the yoga pants of today were called tights. We were them under skirts and dresses, lol. I’m amazed at the women wearing this fashion statement. Also has anyone noticed that toilet paper commercial that tries to convince us all to go commando? What’s up with that? Looking forward to all your pumpkin recipes!

    1. Even with yoga pants I like to have my bottom covered. And I’ve seen that commercial. I always feel like this when I see it: ?

  2. Everyone has lost respect for undergarments, really, commando and these thongs – blah. Nothing wrong with needing the support of a real pair of underwear, especially under a dress. ☺️Dessert looks great.

  3. Love that you can enjoy fall flavors without having to turn the oven on since it’s still so hot out!

  4. HAHA yes to everything in this post (and NO to yoga-pants-commando!)  This dessert though…omg…I need this now (I will probably have to put on my yoga pants shortly after..)

    1. I always make a habit of reading the blog entry that goes with a recipe before I make it and yours made me laugh hard. I’m in my 20s and I love yoga pants but I try to keep wearing them to a minimum when I’m out. I honestly had no idea going commando in them was a thing. I have no idea why it never occurred me people did that. And yeah I 100% agree with you, never happening over here either.

On a side note though, I can’t wait to give this a try. I’ve had a can of apple pie filing for a few months and wanted something different to use it for. One question, I only have 8×8, 11×8 and 13×9 pans. Based on the amount of apple pie filing, do you think the 11 pan would work best? I can always add a little more cool whip and graham crackers as needed. I probably have the slightly larger vanilla pudding too I could use instead. I’ll let you know how it goes!

  5. Um, no way to commando. That is a fashion faux pas. However, I think some gals wear the, uh, skimpier undies when wearing skin tight yoga pants if you know what I mean. However, I’ve definitely seen my fair share of commando booty. Eeek.

This pumpkin apple business needs to happen to my face!

  6. I could never imagine going commando, especially in yoga pants. Of course, I’m from Minnesota and if you went out in just yoga pants and there was a cold breeze, it would be a COLD breeze, you know? ? This recipe looks great. I’m so ready for fall flavors, and I love the crumbly graham crackers.

  7. When thongs first became a huge deal and people started wearing them in ways that it was obvious, I said I would rather have panty lines and I’m sticking to that. I try to get smooth panties that don’t look obvious under light pants but either way, still better than commando! Ugh. Anyhow, am going to make this dessert the next time I use up my soft apples by making “fried” apples (not really fried) so that I can avoid the canned apples but this still sounds AWESOME!

  8. Hee–I seriously think commando became a thing for around the house. I’m of camp undies, myself! Oh, and camp this dessert!!!

  9. Going commando will forever remind me of that Friends episode. Happy thoughts! Also? This dessert combo is absolutely the best of both worlds and what Fall is all about!

  10. Oh, my word! I had no idea that was a thing.  Never in a million years would that happen with me.  Got lines here!  LOL!  Now I’m sure I will notice it on every yoga pant wearing person…my eyes are never going to be the same.  Love that you combined the two fall flavors into one awesome no bake!  Perfect for this crazy hot spell here!
