Baileys Pudding Shots - these easy three ingredient cocktails are perfect for St. Patricks Day...or any day you want Irish Cream! They can be made for kids too!

Baileys Shots with Pudding

Funny story: so when I’m on trips (either vacation or for work) I like to drink Baileys in my coffee…for breakfast. I mean, I’m not driving, so it’s really just a good creamer. A friend of mine always packs mini Baileys whenever she travels and we were at the hotel restaurant having breakfast and working (with our laptops, so really working, not just talking). I poured some of the Baileys into my coffee and happened to catch the eye of another patron across the restaurant…from her look it would seem not everyone thinks to travel with mini Baileys bottles. YOU’RE WELCOME INTERNET.

Baileys Pudding Shots are an easy cocktail that makes pudding drinkable with the help of Baileys Irish Cream!

Ingredients Needed

  • Pudding (either prepared by you from a box or you can use the little cups you steal from your kids’ lunch stash)
  • Milk and/or Baileys – you can make these as strong as you want: stronger, don’t use milk. Weaker, water it down with milk.

You can also make these into mocktail Pudding Shots by skipping the baileys and using milk. Add a teeny tiny drop of mint extract for that minty (Irish) flavor.

How to make Baileys Shots

  • Place sytup shallow plate and green sanding sugar on another. Dip each Shot Glass upside down in the corn syrup then in the sugar.
  • Place pudding, milk, and Baileys in a two cup measuring cup or shaker. Whisk until combined. Pour into shot glasses.

Expert Tips

  • Either make your pudding from a box of instant chocolate pudding (make according to the directions on the box) or buy the prepared pudding cups.
  • It’s best to use cows milk if you’re using powdered mix – otherwise the pudding mix might not set up properly. Any nondairy milk can be used to thin prepared pudding cups.
  • You can use any flavor pudding you like.

  1. I totally hear you! I don’t think most people have the faintest idea how much time and effort goes into a blog – especially one with good pictures! Sometimes it;s frustrating, especially as you’re building it up and trying to turn it into a business. But sometimes the treats and the food friends you meet along the way make it all worth it, peanut paycheck or not!

    1. Thanks so much. It’s nice to know others feel the same way! The friendships are totally worth it. Thanks for reading!

  2. I know how you feel, I work a full time and a part time job and blog. I love to blog but there is just no money in it as of yet. I have yet to see a penny but have spent a lot of my extra spending money on it. I love it, I just wish I could be paid to do it full time. we should write a book and become famous and do nothing but blog and drink baileys for lunch.

  3. I don’t even give it a second thought these days as I toss completely (seemingly) random items into my shopping cart because I need them for “the blog”. What can I say, blogging gives me fulfillment. One of my IRL friends didn’t understand why I “needed” so many packages of Oreos last week. She definitely thought I was insane.
I see so many recipes with Bailey’s. I’ve got to go get some!

  4. I could not agree with you more in stating that blogging is a job. I started mine a few months back and never thought it took so much time and work to take off. I don’t really know what I expected it to do without putting a lot of work into it but boy am I sure glad that I do put work into it and share it with lots of folks! Granted I have a lot more work to do but for now it is suiting me just fine. 🙂

    1. I know what you mean! It’s amazing how much time I spend. But it’s worth it because I love it so much. 🙂 Thanks so much for your comment!

    1. I thought it would be good that the recipe made 3. That way I get enough. 🙂 Thanks for your comment!

  5. OK, I’m totally singing Cumbaya with you…
I love what you had to say about blogging in this post. I have only been doing it for 5 months, but it has started to feel like my job now. And it’s great!! I still get to be a SAHM and do what I love – bake! But it does take a lot of time and I haven’t seen a paycheck yet. Someday!
