Lemonade Prosecco Punch - this easy cocktail punch comes together in minutes with just 3 main ingredients! It's perfect for a summer party!

Okay, my friends. Are you feeling the heat of summer yet? It’s the end of July, which means we’ve been in triple digits off and on for weeks, my A/C is running full time and I’m ready for fall. Unfortunately, I’ve got at least 8 weeks of the horrible sweaty heat before we get any relief. (If this year is true to form, we’ll all be complaining about how hot it is and how tired we are of the heat up until about October 15 and then it will be cold and raining on Halloween. Mother Nature has a very ironic sense of humor.)

Since it’s so hot, we tend to do two things all summer: we live in the pool and we get out of town often. I love entertaining, so we’re trying to have more pool parties. I love being the hostess, for obvious reasons. Every party needs a signature drink and I think that, from now until infinity, this Lemonade Prosecco Punch will be the one I serve. It’s crisp, light, refreshing and it tastes like you’re drinking juice.

Lemonade, Prosecco, Vodka, Blackberry, and Mint – it’s a bubbly Sangria recipe that everyone is going to fall for, and it only takes about 5 minutes to make a pitcher of it!

I have a thing for Prosecco; I absolutely love it. I had never heard of it or tried it until last fall and I was in love at the first sip. Prosecco is a sparkling wine that’s made in Italy. Since last November I’ve tried lots of brands and I can honestly say that La Marca Prosecco is my favorite. (I’m not alone either: it’s also America’s favorite Prosecco!) Alone, La Marca is clean and crisp and has just the right amount of bubbles and sweetness. When you turn it into a bubbly Sangria Party Punch?

Oh. My. Word. Make sure you make a double batch so that you have enough to go around!

This drink is 5 minutes from stirring to drinking. La Marca Prosecco gets mixed with lemonade (use your favorite, I like using a low calorie kind) and vodka (again, use your favorite, I like using citrus infused vodka). Then you add frozen blackberries to keep it cold and fresh mint for some extra fresh flavor. It’s yummy as soon as you mix it but the flavor just gets better as it sits. La Marca’s mantra is to make every day sparkle and this punch will do just that!

(Don’t like blackberries? Use your favorite fruit! Adding it frozen keeps the drink cold without having to use ice.)

Since our trips are mostly over for the summer I’m going to have to have lots of pool parties to deal with the heat. We just got back from our anniversary trip to San Francisco and if I’m being honest, I didn’t want to come home. We always find something new and fun to do in the city; someplace to walk or shop or dine. Before we left last weekend I made sure to check out GiltCity.com to see if they had any fun deals in San Francisco. Gilt City offers it’s members access to experiences in select U.S. cities, all at insider prices. If you’re looking for a fun night out or an unforgettable experience on your next trip, be sure to check them out, here: www.GiltCity.com. Also stay tuned to Gilt City in Augst for more details on how you can cool off or soak up the Miami Sun at the La Marca and Gilt City Soundtrack of Summer Pool Party!

And then you should come home and make this Prosecco Punch. I’m serious, you guys. This is a super keeper recipe!

  1. Can you clarify something for me. You say 1 pint of blackberries (or favorite berry) frozen. Do I freeze the berries. I was hoping to use raspberries as they are my favorite. Can I just use frozen berries. If I do use fresh, do I freeze them. Not sure about the frozen part in your recipe. Thanks.

    1. You can use any berry – they’d all taste great! There’s no real requirement to use them frozen, I just used the frozen fruit in place of ice to keep the pitcher cold longer. But you can use them fresh (unfrozen), frozen, or frozen fresh if you wish!

  2. Yes last year was a total CA sweat fest until Oct 15. I seriously remember going on 90+F runs at the COAST until then. It was so hot. And I didnt have a/c. I wish I had these cocktails 🙂

  3. It has been hot here, but at least in west TX the humidity is low so I can deal with hot heat!  Love this fun party drink…perfect for cooling off on these hot days!

  4. It has been 100 degrees here for the past week or so. I’d love a few glasses of this punch to cool down!

  5. Oh Prosecco!  Is there anything better?  I like it all by itself. But now I’m imagining it with mint and lemonade and every other wonderful aspect of this sangria. This looks like the ultimate refreshing drink.

  6. It’s been SO hot here, so I’ve been craving all of the cool drinks that I can get my hands on! This punch sounds delicious, Dorothy! Prosecco is one of my favorite wines, so I know I would love this!

  7. I loooove prosecco! This looks delicious and super refreshing for Summer — love the additions of the blackberry and mint too. Thanks for sharing!!

  8. We hit the hottest temps in the country (minus the desert in the SW) yesterday here in DC, so I’m feeling your pain! I clearly need to put in a pool and start having parties. Or maybe just drive to the beach. That would work, too!
This is the best summer drink ever. I love both lemonade and Prosecco, so life is looking good!
