It would seem I’m on a margarita kick these days (remember that Hawaiian Margarita last week?) It’s either because Cinco de Mayo is next week OR because I enjoy margaritas through photos because I cannot drink tequila anymore. (Long embarrassing story.)

Even though I didn’t drink these Fruity Margaritas, I did taste them, and I will assure you that they are delicious and perfect for a party! Making margaritas for a crowd is something I love to do, which is why Margarita PUNCH is the perfect thing to make.

If you follow my instagram stories you’ll see that last week I played bartender for a charity event. A friend was doing her annual school fundraising event (adults only, dinner, auction, etc.) and I’ll never say no to bartending. It was my first time and it was so much fun!

When she was looking for a punch recipe to make she chose my Fruity Vodka Party Punch recipe and I got to be mixologist. Have you ever made vodka or tequila punch in a 10 gallon bucket? I mean, wow. That’s a LOT of alcohol: three full 1.75L bottles of vodka and two of rum.

Making that punch again made me think about making a margarita version for summer. Margarita punch is perfect for all your summer entertaining!

Looking for a Fruity Margarita Punch recipe for summer? Look no further; this tequila punch is the perfect recipe!

With just a few easy ingredients this takes the traditional margarita and turns it fruity!

How do you make margarita punch?

Very carefully, lol. (Or wait, is that the answer to how to drink margarita punch?)

You need to have the traditional margarita ingredients to make any sort of margarita themed recipe:

  • Tequila
  • Limes
  • Triple Sec (aka Cointreau)

I added fruit punch to make this into a party punch recipe. I used a gallon of fruit punch from the juice aisle but you could also use concentrate.

How do you serve margarita punch?

I love serving this punch in a large pitcher and using frozen pineapple chunks as ice. Slice up some oranges and lemons for garnish and serve the drink on the rocks! You could even salt the rim, if you want.

And if you ever want to know how to turn this into a 5 gallon margarita recipe, just let me know. I can do all the math pretty easy now!

    1. 4 times the recipe would make just over 2 gallons (16 cups per gallon, the recipe has 9 cups of liquid).

    1. You would need approximately 2.5 gallons of fruit punch, 2-3 bottles of tequila (1.75L), 3-4 bottles of Triple Sec (750ml) and 5 cups of lime juice.
