Happy Friday everyone!

What have you been up to? I am so behind – after Austin and Disneyland, my Bloglovin’ feed is cray-cray.

Speaking of Bloglovin – Google Reader is going away soon! Be sure and follow me on Bloglovin! (I use it regularly and really, really love it. It’s way better than Google Reader anyway!)

1. So…I was gone last week. Did you see the wonderful guest posts I had for you?

Thanks to you girls for guest posting for me! It was SO nice to be able to totally unplug.

Well, except for instagram. And twitter. And FB. I can never really unplug those. #theyreinmyblood

2. Did you know that Hell froze over last Monday? And did you see the pigs flying over your house?

characters

Jordan took pictures with characters. Ones in big fluffy costumes. #win

{In the past, she’s run screaming at the sight of them. We never have to go to Chuck E. Cheese – ever. We’ve skipped birthday parties because of her fears of big fuzzy characters.}

3. Next week is the Fourth of July. Can I interest you in some Patriotic Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Bark?

Or how about a Raspberry Arnold Palmer to serve at your party? There’s even an adult’s only version!

4. I ate my way through every bakery in Disneyland. I really wanted a Dole Whip but the line was consistently 20 minutes long. ???!!!

foods

I plan to copycat SO many things. Which should I do first?

5. I wanted to eat my computer screen when I saw these Dark Chocolate {flourless} Avocado Brownies by Heather’s French Press.

6. Jordan discovered Full House. She’s totally in love with it. It’s like a blast from the past…and it makes me feel reallllly old.

7. We started Big Bang Theory on Netflix. OMG it’s so hilarious. Now I understand why people have been telling me to watch it for 6 years.

8. Want a doughnut?

A bunch of us made copycats of Gourdoughs Doughnuts in Austin. If you want a good drool, go check it out!

9. This is, quite possibly, my favorite picture from all of Disneyland.

10. Did you know that Online BlogCon ’13 registration is up and running? We’re so excited for the sophomore year of our online blog conference. Go read more and register on the OBC ’13 site!

11. Speaking of OBC ’13, there’s a giveaway going on over there for an iPad Mini!

Go enter to win!

Have a great weekend y’all! I hope it’s relaxing, refreshing, and fun!

  1. Total props to you guys–I can’t believe you guys made it through every bakery without food K.O.’ing! I stare at the dipped PB graham cracker chocolate every time, and I have yet to try the Mickey beignets, but what’s that delicious-looking chocolate dessery in the lower left? It looks amazingly fudgy!

  2. Your trip looks like you had so much fun…that Splash Mountain pic is awesome!!! My kids recently discovered Full House too and have been watching it. It was my favorite growing up so I am so excited to watch them again!!!

  3. I LOVE Disneyland bakeries! Especially when it means watching them make homemade fudge and caramel apples… And getting to buy a freshly made one right after! I’m not sure if you read her blog, but Chocolate Covered Katie recently made a Dole Whip copycat. You wouldn’t have to wait in a 20-minute line for that!

And don’t even get me started on Big Bang Theory!! My parents actually went to the college it’s based at (yes, we’re a family of nerds!), and all of the jokes have us in stitches — especially the geeky ones! My guy and I thought about buying a shower curtain just like Sheldon’s… Come on over if you want to watch the next seasons on DVD and use your Netflix for something else! 😉

    1. I love that shower curtain, lol. We’re picking up on season one tonight. LOVE it so much! 🙂

  4. I love that picture of you guys on Splash Mountain – so fun! I’m already so excited about OBC – can’t wait!

  5. Oh Dorothy, I soooo love the family picture of Splash Mountain. We have the same one but from the Cars ride. The best!

    1. Jordan was so mad – she wasn’t tall enough to show above the windshield on the cars ride! That was such a fun ride. Thanks for all your tips!
