Crazy Sweet Tuesday

Welcome to Crazy Sweet Tuesday! Another week has gone by. It’s the middle of February. (!!!)

Oh, and Happy Valentine’s Day, too. I hope you all get some love from someone today. Although, I hope that the loves in your life give you the affection you deserve every day, because that’s how it should be.

Lots of features this week, because y’all are so awesome I couldn’t decide what to pick!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Overload Bars by Shaken Together. These bars are filled with my favorite things: Capt’n Crunch, peanut butter, and M&Ms. The fact she had both types of Capt’n Crunch in her pantry for a last minute treat makes me love her a little bit.

Two Bite S’more Hand Pies by Mis-Cakes Oven Adventures. I love this idea. The dough sounds amazing, and well, it’s S’mores, how can they not be awesome? Plus, she doesn’t love camping. So we’re kinda soul sisters.

Pink Velvet Macaroons by BruCrew Life. Can you believe I’ve never made macaroons? I must remedy that, STAT.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Hearts by Flour Me With Love. This one was really a no-brainer. Peanut butter and chocolate? Count me in!

Mocha Swirl Cookies by The Kitchen is My Playground. Chocolate, coffee, cookies. YUM! And they’re so perfectly pretty.

Bailey’s Chocolate Pudding by Kitchen Meets Girl. Y’all know how I’m not a huge (store-bought) pudding fan. I’ve been dying to try to make the real thing and this might just be the recipe I need to use. Bailey’s? Yes, please!

Crazy Sweet Tuesday

You know what I really don’t like this time of year? That I have way too many ideas of treats to make. And then I host this party and I get so many more ideas my mind just never stops.
Please tell me I’m not the only one who pretends to be watching the immunity challenge on Survivor (nodding and agreeing with whatever the husband says) while actually thinking about the next best treat thing that I’m going to end up needing to make first thing in the morning? Because this happens to me an awful lot and it would really help to know I’m not certifiably insane, just blogger insane.
Can you see my problem here? Y’all are creative to the max! Here are a few of the treats that caught my eye this week:

It’s a Pink Christmas! Cupcakes by Mrs. Fox’s Sweets. Have you checked out her blog? The stuff she does is amazing. I can’t stop staring at these cupcakes. They are so pretty!

Snickers Fudge by Somewhere in the Middle. {MOM, don’t look any further!} Shhhh….I may have just discovered my mom’s birthday treat this year! Doesn’t this picture look edible??

Double Peanut Butter Blossoms by Lucy Jane’s Best. My obsession with peanut butter and chocolate, especially Reese’s, is at an all-time high right now.

Martha Washington’s by Country Momma Cooks. Coconut. Pecans. Chocolate. Um, enough said.

Mexican Hot Chocolate Wedding Cookies by Texas Cottage. I love Mexican Wedding Cookies. These are beautiful and I love the chocolate idea! {Pssst…if you like these kind of cookies be sure to come back Wednesday to see my version!}

Less than two weeks to Christmas. Is everyone ready?

Crazy Sweet Tuesday

I want to thank everyone who linked up last week. Your recipes and photos and words are amazing! I’ve also found quite a few new blogs to read, which makes me happy. I love opening my reader each morning and (attempting) to read as many as I can before the rushtogetreadyforschool starts.

Veering off topic for a minute while I have your attention…is anyone out there going to the Foodbuzz Festival in November? I’m so excited that there is actually a blogger event near me that I could actually attend. (And, I’m excited about an entire weekend alone in my favorite city.) If you’re going to the festival let me know! That way we can get all BFF and stuff before November.

Okay…so here are my picks from last week. Y’all made it really difficult again. I have a feeling this will be a weekly trend.

Cinnamon Roll Cupcakes by SugarBeams and Other Half Baked Adventures. I just love this idea. They will make a great Christmas morning presentation for my family. (This was also the top viewed recipe, BTW.)

Apple Fritter Bread by Flour Me With Love. One look at this recipe reminded me of getting doughnuts with my Mom. She loved the apple fritters. (See Mom – I’m making a whole binder of recipes just for you!)

Dark Chocolate Raspberry Brownies by Moogie & Pap. I really love how versatile this recipe is. Ghiradelli squares come in so many flavors the brownies can be switched up a ton of ways. And I really, really love Ghiradelli.

Best Banana Cake by The Better Baker. I love banana anything (except, strangely, actual bananas) and when I saw that the cake had a cream cheese glaze? I was won over immediately.

S’more Pralines by The Kitchen is My Playground. I love making bark, especially at the holidays. I’m always looking for great new twists and this is one I’ll use for sure!
