Hi everyone! It’s Friday, yay!

Well, actually, I’m kind of bummed it’s Friday…because that means I’m on my way home from our vacation.

It also means I have a different kind of Friday post for you. I didn’t do much here this week, so I wanted to talk about something else today.

{But don’t worry, I will resume our regularly scheduled Whatever Friday post next Friday, complete with two weeks of recaps. Consider yourself forewarned!}

Anyway, I’m totally excited today, because it’s my official announcement that I’ve signed on with Ziplist!

{Yeah, like you had no idea, from all the “Save Recipe” buttons and that button over there on the sidebar that says “Featured Partner.”}

Anyway, I’m super excited about Ziplist. It’s totally cool.

Ziplist is an online grocery list and a place where you can virtually save all your favorite recipes from around the web. And it’s totally free!

All you have to do is create an account with Ziplist (totally fast, easy, and free). Then, whenever you see the “save recipe” button on your favorite websites or here at Crazy for Crust, you can easily save the recipe to your recipe box. Press the save recipe button and it’s automatically saved. The tool will even make a grocery list for you, which you can edit.

They even have a phone app (again, totally free) that you can access from anywhere. Like, say, in the middle of the grocery store when you can’t remember all the ingredients for a drink you want to make. Way easier than calling your husband and making him dig through your desk for the printed recipe.

And, because I’m partnered with Ziplist, you can access your shopping list and recipe box right from here! You can see the links up on the tabs bar. Pretty cool, huh?

Oh, and one other feature I really love – if you see a recipe you like on a site that doesn’t have the save recipe button, that’s okay. You can install a button on your toolbar (kinda like the Pin It button) and you can still save the recipe! Totally awesome. (Click here for that feature.)

If you’re a food blogger and are interested in partnering with Ziplist, go here for more information.

I hope that you enjoy the new Ziplist edition to Crazy for Crust! I’m totally excited about it, not that you can’t tell or anything.

Have a great weekend, and have fun saving recipes!

  1. As usual, I have my head in the sand. I’ve never heard of ziplist, but I’m going to check it out. Welcome home~

  2. Hi Dorothy! I just found your blog and can’t wait to read more. But, our softball season hasn’t ended yet, so off to pack up water and cupcakes – blog reading will have to wait until tonight. Have a great day!

  3. Fun stuff going on over here. I signed up for ziplist a few months ago and then dropped the ball with adding it to my blog and all! I can’t wait to hear all about your fun vacation:-) Sorry that it is over already!

  4. That’s really nifty. Anything would be better than having 8 crumpled post-it notes (“shopping lists”) in my purse at a time!

  5. I have been thinking about Ziplist for awhile. I better go check it out and get on it! Hope you had a great vacation! 🙂

    1. You should definitely check it out. They are really friendly and helpful getting it set up too. 🙂

  6. I think maybe I ~really~ need to get a fancy phone, huh? 🙂 I was hoping the blog would help fund that for me. No deal. Have a safe trip back home to super, duper HOT CA!!

  7. Thanks Dorothy! I’ve already added that app…aren’t iPhones great! Sorry your vacation is coming to an end, but thanks for introducing us to Kristen. XOXO

  8. oh man this is bad, I can see myself in the store spending like $500 with all the stuff I put on it, so bad for the wallet and waste, good for me in every other way:)
