Zucchini Pizza Recipe

Zucchini Pizza is an easy dinner recipe - use store bought or homemade pizza dough to make a pizza with raw zucchini on top.

Ingredients

  • 1 recipe pizza crust or store bought
  • ½ to 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 thinly sliced zucchini (small)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Stretch and pat pizza dough with floured hands to fill greased 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet.
  • Spread with pizza sauce. Top with cheese. Top with zucchini.
  • Bake on lowest oven rack for 12 to 15 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and crust is browned.
  • Cool just a minute or so before slicing and serving.

Notes

It's important that your zucchini is very thinly sliced so that it starts to cook while the pizza is in the oven.
