Aloha! Sorry, I couldn’t help it. This drink SCREAMS Hawaii to me: Pineapple Party Punch, my favorite new cocktail.

Pineapple, rum and prosecco combine to make the most refreshing punch that serves a crowd. You can also make a non-alcoholic version! Either way, you are going to want to make this party punch recipe for all your summer events.

Easy Pineapple Party Punch recipe - Just 3 ingredients makes the most refreshing cocktail! Plus, a non-alcoholic version too!

We might not get to an actual tropical beach this summer, but that doesn’t mean we won’t be making tropical drinks and I have a great one for you today. This party punch is fruity, bubbly and boozy – basically everything a punch should be. It’s the best alcoholic party punch for a crowd, but be careful because it so easy so drink!

I’ve been making this punch for years and it’s my favorite way to get a taste of a tropical vacation without leaving the house! The pineapple reminds me of our trip to Hawaii and all the fun we had. It just transports me right to those memories.

I love cheap alcoholic punch recipes especially when they’re easy to make! You’ll definitely want to give this one a try soon – it’s perfect on a warm summer night, so if you want to learn how to make punch for a party this is for you.

I can’t get Hawaii out of my head. All year long I’ve been making Pineapple Mimosa’s and dreaming of the beach. I think I’ve drank more prosecco this year than I ever have before! After making a Cake by the Ocean Cocktail last month, I started thinking about other cocktails I could make with pineapple juice. And I wanted to add bubbles because, well, bubbles make everything better. Also, there’s just something about the smell of pineapple juice that transports me to the beach.

You Will Love this Easy Punch Recipe

What I love best about this cocktail recipe is that you can make most of it ahead of time and then finish it just before you serve it. I hate worrying about mixing individual drinks for a party, so this is the perfect solution – just mix it up in a pitcher and you’re good to go.

The other thing I love is that you can make this non-alcoholic, too! It’s still fruity and refreshing but kid-friendly. I’m showing you how to do it both ways.

How to Make Punch for a Party (with Alcohol)

  • Pineapple juice
  • White rum or coconut rum
  • Chilled prosecco (or champagne)
  • Frozen pineapple chunks

If you want to give it a coconut twist be sure to use the coconut rum – it’s delicious. I like to use Prosecco which is a sparkling Italian wine. It’s like champagne but they can’t call it champagne because champagne can only be made in France (just a fun fact!). So, either will work – choose your favorite.

The frozen pineapple chunks take the place of ice cubes and they keep the drink cold without watering it down.

To make the drink just combine the juice, rum and prosecco in a pitcher. Stir to combine and then add the pineapple chunks. So easy! Just the way a summer cocktail should be, right?

How to Make Non-Alcoholic Party Punch

The non-alcoholic version of this drink tastes like a pineapple soda. It’s so refreshing and kid-friendly!

Just omit the rum and prosecco and use regular or diet sprite (or other lemon-lime soda) or plain club soda instead.

How to Make it Ahead

You can mix the pineapple juice with the rum ahead of time and keep it in the refrigerator. I wouldn’t do this more than a few hours in advance.

Just before you’re ready to serve it add the prosecco. You want all the bubbles from the sparkling wine, so don’t do this part ahead.

If you want to make the punch recipe with Sprite, I would just do it right before serving since there’s only the two ingredients. You will want it to be nice and fizzy.

Even if you can’t get to the beach this summer there’s no reason you can’t bring it to you. Just grab some girlfriends, mix up a batch of pineapple party punch and you’ll feel like you’re there! Enjoy!
