i am thankful

Happy Thanksgiving, friends!

I wanted to just take a minute out of this fun and busy day to tell you that. I am thankful for so many things this year, for my health and my family’s health, for my daughter and my husband and my parents and in-laws. I’m thankful for the roof over our heads and the meal on our table. But I’m also thankful for one other thing.

I’m thankful for all of you.

Thanks to all of you I’ve had the most amazing 2014. Thanks to all of you my blog has grown to heights I would have never thought possible. This is my job, and I pinch myself every day to make myself believe that I am actually doing something that I love. I’m thankful that your support has helped me launch my first cookbook, and that I’ve been able to meet all the wonderful other people who do this job alongside me.

So thank you, for helping to make my dreams come true. I’m thankful for you today.

From my family to yours, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

xo,
Dorothy 🙂

  1. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving, Dorothy! I am grateful to have ran across your blog. You inspire me everyday to keep pushing to grow my site. Thanks for all you do!

  2. Back atcha Dorothy & friends! We had a great spread out on the rig with TONS of desserts. I hope you find time to check some pic’s on my FB account…JP Province…it’s not private or anything like that…We went through 7 cheesecakes and 5 each pumpkin-pecan pies alone, not to mention everything else! I pitched in on some items, but my baker did most of the legwork. I did make 70 pecan pralines yesterday though….ALL GONE! lol
