What is a Cupcake Martini?

This is one of my favorite martini recipes: it combines a lemon drop martini with a cupcake flavored cocktail. Lemon cake in a glass!

If you love sweeter cocktails or fun flavors, this is the recipe for you. Cake batter and lemon flavor – with just 3 ingredients!

ingredients in the lemon cupcake martini.

3 Ingredient Martini

  • Cake vodka – So many brands have cake flavored vodka nowadays, so buy your favorite. If you can’t find cake flavored, buy vanilla vodka or whipped vodka.
  • Limoncello – You must have a bottle of this. Not only is it great in this recipe but it’s fantastic as a shot.
  • Club sodaI top it off with club soda because I’m a lightweight.

How to make a Lemon Cupcake Martini

  1. Shake over ice, then strain into your glass.
  2. I also rimmed the glass with frosting and sprinkles, because cake. Plus, birthday and all that.

Expert Tips

  • Use vanilla vodka or whipped vodka if you can’t find cake vodka
  • Want a creamy cocktail? Swap the club soda with cream or half and half
  • Nonpareils will stick to the glass better than jimmies.

Everyone who has tried this cocktail is in LOVE with it. The cake vodka gives it the cake flavor, the limoncello brings the lemon. It really does taste like lemon cupcakes!!

Don’t know all of your details that set you into a tailspin but you are too talented, beautiful and compassionate to let it get you down. Kick ass, honey, and let the rest catch up to you. I am 75 y.o., and I can tell you that you will kiss alot of frogs in your life time. Don’t worry…there are alot more princes than you could ever imagine! As a 96 y.o. lady, whom I have adopted, once told me, “Don’t give up and you want give out”! Truer words were never spoken. Love you and enjoy your recipes.
