Hi there! I’m Dorothy, the crazy gal behind the blog. If you didn’t already know, I’m crazy for crust…and cookies…and brownies…and pretty much
anything with sugar.

I love Nikon, but my camera is really old, so would love an upgrade!

I love to travel, this would be great to take trip photos!
I would love to upgrade to this camera and a better 35mm lens so I can work on my portraiture. Art school is expensive and I would really use this equipment to better my work as I’m trying to move into a professional field. I would worship those beauties, haha!
I’ve never owned anything other than a point and shoot so I’m pretty sure I would literally sleep with this under my pillow if I won it. I’d use it for everything from my blog to freaking paint drying, it doesn’t matter, I know I’ll just love it!

I would love to photograph my sweet 94 year old grandfather in crisp clear focus (blow up the photo to make a poster for his room) to celebrate him turning 94.5 this month!
to capture the green growth of spring, the bright orange insides of a butternut squash, the giggly smiles and dancing eyes of my girls, farming and ranching mysteries unveiled before my city raised eyes…I do not go any where without my camera!

My son is graduating from high school this year. Would love a new camera to capture all of the graduation memories!
I would start food blogging again!
I would love to win! I’ve been dying to take a photography course, but I don’t have a camera, which is of course a requirement. You would make me sooo happy
I am taking a digital photography class at our SUNY IT through a program that is called Mohawk Valley Learning in Retirement. It is open to all and they offer many courses each semester. One can take 4 core and unlimited “free” courses. I know at this point in my life that I have so much left to learn to do the best I can at the things I can do. Breathing is good at this stage in my life, but breathing while learning and applying the learning to everyday life is a gift. I have a habit of taking pictures of food, mine, others, and restaurants especially on vacation. I have passed this on to my daughter.. we’ve been chuckled at, laughed at and when we pose the food, well, patrons think we’re nuts. I love to take pictures of the beach each time we go to Longboat Key, the food there and just whatever catches my eye. I am now using myphone as my camera as the last camera bit the dust, literally. I think a grain of sand got into it and it is stuck. This would be great.
I would use the camera to photograph my family.
I would shoot covers with it to upload it on youtube <3
and take lot's of pictures and post it on instagram & tumblr to get better solutions. xx
I would photo my favorite things…family, friends, flowers and fun things to blog about.

Many thanks! Cheers!

I would use the camera to take photos of my kids, and may be the food I make!

I just signed up for a photography class, so I could use the camera to figure out my niche. Right now, I’d use the camera for blog pics.
It would be such a blessing to win this camera and lens! I am a freelance photographer so I would shoot lots of memories with it!
