It’s Friday! One of my favorite days. Let’s jump right in!

1. Do you have any interest in seeing “real” food on Crazy for Crust? Like…dinner?

2. I want to get a camera/laptop bag. I know there are several companies out there who make them. I need your recommendations! I want something fun, but also functional. In a perfect world it would be a pretty color…and a backpack or messenger bag. I’m not afraid to spend some money on it, but I’m not Ivana Trump, ya’ know? So…where should I shop?

3. Did you enter my giveaway for a Nexus 10 Tablet or $399 cash? GO ENTER!

Speaking of giveaways, we have winners! The winner of the iPad was Derek P. and the winner of the $20 Amazon gift card was Michelle P. Congrats friends!

3. This week I made…

Peanut Butter Baklava {Really…no words needed.}
Cookie Butter Pretzels {your new addictive snack}
Candy Buttons {Nostalgia in pink and red.}
Butterscotch Pecan Magic Bars {My 2,345,102 version.}

I rounded up my past Valentine Treats.

How you likin’ that diet?

4. I guest posted for Pamela over at Pamela’s Heavenly Treats. Did you check these babies out?

Peanut Butter Rolo Fudge. {It’s what’s for dinner.}

5. Let’s talk RHOBH. Okay, so, I’ve always liked her, but after this weeks’ episode I’m firmly Team Brandy. Dude, Mauricio, judge much? Like, you try being a single mom with tons of debt and a cheating ex and deal with people talking smack. Why do they always attack Brandy and then get all outraged when she explodes the f-bomb on them? It’s almost like they want it to happen or something…

{Side note: Eddie Cibrian, who knew he was total slime? Watch out Leann. Get him a chastity belt or something.}

6. Dinnertime! Here’s what we made this week:

Sunday: Potato and Leek Pie (recipe coming soon to a Marie Callender’s blog near you)

Monday: Roasted Cauliflower & Cheddar Soup by Two Peas and their Pod. For a family of cauliflower haters, this soup was amazing. Had I not cooked it I wouldn’t have known. Jordan actually ate it (well…in all honesty, she dipped bread in it, but still!) I used gruyere instead of white cheddar. SO good.

Tuesday: Lemon Pound Cake Mel was gone…we fended for ourselves.

Wednesday: Slow Cooker Enchilada Chicken from Chef In Training. This is my new favorite mexican chicken recipe. I shredded it and made tacos. I also put the breasts into the crock pot frozen, and cooked it for 6 hours on high. Worked like a charm, and they were tender and delicious!

Thursday: Penne with Swiss Chard Spinach and Ricotta by Mother Thyme. I was really, really hoping to try chard in this meal. I’ve never had it and my goal was to try it. But, wouldn’t you know, Walmart doesn’t carry it. Oh well, I subbed spinach and it was great. I love anything with pasta!

7. I saw this on Pinterest last night and had to share it. Because it’s so true! And it’s pretty much the definition of blogging.

Well…that’s about it folks. Thanks for hanging in there with me for another week! I heart you!

Happy Weekend!

    If you cook “real” food like the recipes you have been linking to … by all means share.

    I haven’t even thought about Valentine’s Day food. The Hubby did make a strong suggestion of something he wants. So, I need to do some music searching.

    Excellent quote find!

  2. Love the last quote!
    I’d like to see real dinner recipes. I need inspiration.
    Scott bought our camera bag when he surprised me with a camera. Love the camera, don’t love the bag. I’m in the market for one too…

    Happy weekend!
